Samantha Hughes is the Platform Manager at Equal Ventures, where she leads community engagement and platform strategy to support portfolio growth, and firm visibility. Previously, Samantha was the Events & Community Specialist at M13, an early-stage venture firm, where she built and scaled their community & events program, and developed data-driven processes to enhance their brand and founder engagement. She also serves on the Steering Committee for the NYC chapter of the GenAI Collective, driving partnerships and community growth for New York’s AI operators, researchers, and enthusiasts.
Samantha earned her BA in Art History and English from Muhlenberg College. An enthusiast of visual art and music, you’ll find her exploring museums or enjoying a live concert in her free time.
